Write For Us Mobi Tech Updates

Mobi Tech Updates welcomes contributions from technology writers, researchers, digital marketing professionals, cybersecurity experts, and online entrepreneurs who have something genuinely useful to say. We are not looking for more of the same generic tech content — we are looking for writers who bring real expertise, original thinking, and practical insights that our readers cannot find anywhere else.

If that sounds like you, read on.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal Mobi Tech Updates contributor is someone who has lived experience with the topic they are writing about — not someone who has researched it for an afternoon. We want:

• Technology professionals with hands-on experience in the field they are writing about
• Digital marketers who can share strategies based on real campaign results, not theory
• Cybersecurity practitioners who understand threat landscapes from the inside
• Entrepreneurs and online business builders who have actually built what they are writing about
• Researchers and academics who can translate technical findings into accessible language

Writing experience matters, but domain expertise matters more. If you have deep knowledge in a relevant area and clear writing skills, we will work with you to shape your article into something publication-ready.

Topics We Accept

We accept guest posts in the following content categories. Posts outside these areas are unlikely to be accepted:

Mobile Technology

• Smartphone tips, tricks, and optimisation guides
• Mobile app recommendations and comparisons
• Mobile operating system features and hidden functionality
• Wearables, accessories, and the mobile ecosystem

AI Tools and Applications

• Practical guides to using AI tools for productivity, creativity, or business
• Comparisons of AI writing, image, or coding tools based on real testing
• How AI is transforming specific industries or workflows
• Ethical considerations and limitations of AI tools — honest assessments welcome

Cybersecurity and Privacy

• Guides to protecting personal or business data
• VPN and security tool reviews based on hands-on testing
• Explainers on security concepts for a non-technical audience
• Current threats, vulnerabilities, and how to defend against them

Digital Marketing

• SEO strategies with real case studies or data
• Social media marketing guides with actionable tactics
• Email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising
• Analytics and performance measurement

Make Money Online and Digital Business

• Realistic guides to building income through blogging, freelancing, or affiliate marketing
• Case studies with real numbers and honest discussion of results
• Tools and platforms that support building online income
• Digital entrepreneurship lessons from actual experience

Topics We Do Not Accept

• Generic top-ten lists with no original research or perspective
• Product promotion disguised as editorial content (this is advertising, not a guest post)
• Cryptocurrency investment advice, financial predictions, or speculative investment content
• Content about gambling, adult topics, or products that violate our advertising standards
• Academic-style content that is not accessible to a general technology-literate audience
• Anything that has been published, or closely mirrors content published, elsewhere

Our Content Standards

Every guest post submitted to Mobi Tech Updates must meet the following minimum standards before we will consider it for publication:

Length and Depth

• Minimum 1,500 words — ideally 2,000 to 2,500 words for guides and how-to content
• Content must go significantly deeper than what is available in the top 5 Google results for the topic
• Generic introductions and obvious conclusions will be edited or rejected

Accuracy and Research

• All factual claims must be supported by credible sources (official documentation, published research, verifiable data)
• Include working source links for any statistics or claims that are not common knowledge
• Do not include unverified claims or speculative statements presented as fact

Originality

• Content must be 100% original and not published elsewhere — we check
• Content must be written by a human being — AI-generated text is not acceptable
• We run all submissions through plagiarism and AI detection tools as a standard step

Structure and Readability

• Use clear headings (H2 and H3) to organise your content
• Write in short paragraphs of 2–4 sentences
• Use bullet points for lists — not long unbroken paragraphs
• Write in active voice where possible
• Explain technical terms the first time you use them

What You Get in Return

We offer the following to accepted guest contributors:

• One do-follow author bio link to your website or LinkedIn profile
• Author byline on the published article
• Social media promotion of your article to our audience
• Access to our contributor guidelines and editorial templates for future submissions
• The credibility of having your work published on an established, independently operated technology publication

We do not currently offer payment for guest posts. We do not accept payment from contributors in exchange for publication — all editorial decisions are merit-based.

Link Policy

We understand that many contributors are also interested in backlinks for SEO purposes. Our link policy:

• One do-follow author bio link is included with every accepted guest post
• Contextual do-follow links within the article body may be included if they are editorially justified — they must link to genuinely useful, authoritative resources
• We do not accept contextual links to commercial pages, product landing pages, or competitor-adjacent content as part of a standard guest post
• Contextual link placement for SEO purposes is a paid service — see our Advertise With Us page

How to Submit

To pitch a guest post to Mobi Tech Updates, follow these steps:

1. Email us at contact@mobitechupdates.com with the subject line ‘Guest Post Proposal’
2. Include a working title and a 100–150 word outline of your proposed article
3. Include links to 2–3 published writing samples that demonstrate your ability and expertise
4. Tell us briefly about your background and why you are qualified to write on this topic

Please do not send a completed article without a prior pitch. We review pitches first, and if we are interested, we will invite you to write the full piece. This saves everyone time.

What to Expect After You Submit

• We review all pitches within 5 business days
• If your pitch is a good fit, we will reply with feedback and an invitation to submit the full article
• If your pitch is not a fit, we will try to explain briefly why — though we cannot always respond to every submission in detail
• Once a full article is submitted, our editorial team reviews it within 7 business days
• We may request revisions before accepting an article for publication
• We cannot guarantee a publication date, but we aim to publish accepted articles within 3–4 weeks of final approval

A Note on Quality

We receive many guest post submissions. We accept very few. Not because we are difficult to work with — but because our readers deserve content that is genuinely worth reading. If your first pitch is not accepted, we encourage you to refine your approach and try again with a different topic.

The writers who succeed with us are the ones who come with something real to say — a perspective, an experience, a data point, or a technique that readers cannot easily find elsewhere. If you have that, we want to hear from you.

Send your pitch to contact@mobitechupdates.com. We look forward to reading it.
