Topics We Do Not Accept

- Content about gambling, adult topics, or products that violate our advertising standards
- Academic-style content that is not accessible to a general technology-literate audience
- Anything that has been published, or closely mirrors content published, elsewhere
Our Content Standards
Every guest post submitted to Mobi Tech Updates must meet the following minimum standards before we will consider it for publication:
Length and Depth
- Minimum 1,500 words — ideally 2,000 to 2,500 words for guides and how-to content
- Content must go significantly deeper than what is available in the top 5 Google results for the topic
- Generic introductions and obvious conclusions will be edited or rejected
Accuracy and Research
- All factual claims must be supported by credible sources (official documentation, published research, verifiable data)
- Include working source links for any statistics or claims that are not common knowledge
- Do not include unverified claims or speculative statements presented as fact
Originality
- Content must be 100% original and not published elsewhere — we check
- Content must be written by a human being — AI-generated text is not acceptable
- We run all submissions through plagiarism and AI detection tools as a standard step
Structure and Readability
- Use clear headings (H2 and H3) to organise your content
- Write in short paragraphs of 2–4 sentences
- Use bullet points for lists — not long unbroken paragraphs
- Write in active voice where possible
- Explain technical terms the first time you use them

We understand that many contributors are also interested in backlinks for SEO purposes. Our link policy:
- One do-follow author bio link is included with every accepted guest post
- Contextual do-follow links within the article body may be included if they are editorially justified — they must link to genuinely useful, authoritative resources
- We do not accept contextual links to commercial pages, product landing pages, or competitor-adjacent content as part of a standard guest post
- Contextual link placement for SEO purposes is a paid service — see our Advertise With Us page
How to Submit
To pitch a guest post to Mobi Tech Updates, follow these steps:
- Email us at contact@mobitechupdates.com with the subject line ‘Guest Post Proposal’
- Include a working title and a 100–150 word outline of your proposed article
- Include links to 2–3 published writing samples that demonstrate your ability and expertise
- Tell us briefly about your background and why you are qualified to write on this topic
Please do not send a completed article without a prior pitch. We review pitches first, and if we are interested, we will invite you to write the full piece. This saves everyone time.
What to Expect After You Submit
- We review all pitches within 5 business days
- If your pitch is a good fit, we will reply with feedback and an invitation to submit the full article
- If your pitch is not a fit, we will try to explain briefly why — though we cannot always respond to every submission in detail
- Once a full article is submitted, our editorial team reviews it within 7 business days
- We may request revisions before accepting an article for publication
- We cannot guarantee a publication date, but we aim to publish accepted articles within 3–4 weeks of final approval
A Note on Quality
We receive many guest post submissions. We accept very few. Not because we are difficult to work with — but because our readers deserve content that is genuinely worth reading. If your first pitch is not accepted, we encourage you to refine your approach and try again with a different topic.
